RAPES IN INDIA

Oh! one more RAPE that teenage girl in Chandigarh or with jyoti in Delhi or 100 yrs old aged women raped by a drunken men. There must have been fault of that girl who was wearing short skirt or who was out late night with her friends or yes of course that girl having drink with her colleagues. But yes" Bura hua uske sath" and thats ends. And some of us attend Candle march, rallies against rapists for few days and its done.Chapter closed till we not get another interested topic to gossip about isn't it? Till when?Have you ever ask your self? 

This is what we used to do against rape from last many years.Have you ever think what is the state of mind of girls in India now? let me tell you.

A few month girl know the Rape is? I don't  even want to answer this question.But nowadays a teenage girl thinks she  Know how to safe herself from that bastards.She never stood alone if she could help it.And walk quickly crossing her arms over her chest , refusing to make eye contact or smile.Avoid going out in dark.Many of us have pepper spray in our bag. Why we are not feeling safe in Our country? With our own people. I guess some credits goes to our upbringing we teach our girls not to go outside at night its not safe. But have we ever asked to our son where are you going at night? Whom he is going with? . We teaches our daughter how to sit. What to wear what not. Don't laugh loudly. Did we teach our son how to treat a girl or women in his life? 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi captured the nub of the problem perfectly when, referring to rape, he urged parents at a huge rally at the Red Fort in the capital to take responsibility for the behaviour of their sons rather than putting the onus on their daughters.

"Even when they are only 12, young girls are always being asked so many questions by their parents, like 'where are you off to?'. But do these parents ask their sons where they are going?" he asked.

Some men's of our society thinks She must be covered and look respectable. That way, no man will try anything, A man will only have bad thoughts about a woman if she is showing a lot of flesh. Not otherwise.
on this a dialogue came in my mind from movie Pink -"  Kisi bhi ladki ko kisi bhi ladke ke sath hans- hans ke ya touch karke baat nhi karni chaiye, Kyunki ye uska hin samja jayega ,Hansi ko haan or jo uska natural behavior hai use chalu hone ka sabot samja jayega."

Another proof of our narrow minded society one says " Girls here(India) can't be like girls in the West. They have to dress decently and watch where they go, who they are with. If they don't observe these restrictions, they are perceived negatively by men and will be at risk,"
Seriously!!
That,s our problem? Not yours who thinks if she wear mini dress she put herself in danger ,But there are so many cases where the girls in suits also gets raped what about that?

We live in free country we want to be free, we want to dress as we want to be , we want to go anywhere we want to be, we want to laugh loudly, we will drink or not that's our choice. Will do all that  things what we want to do  that's our right , that's our choice, That's makes us HAPPY and we want to be happy. and we don't care what others think.WE WANT TO FLY,WE WANT TO BREATHE ....!

LAWS AGAINST RAPE 

What does the amended Criminal Law state?

• Minimum punishment in case of rape of women has been increased from rigorous imprisonment of 7 years to 10 years, extendable to life imprisonment.

• The punishment for gang rape of a girl under 16 years of age will invariably be imprisonment for rest of life of the convict.

• Stringent punishment for rape of a girl under 12 years has been provided – minimum 20 years’ imprisonment or imprisonment for rest of life or with death.


• In case of gang rape of a girl below 12 years, punishment will be imprisonment for rest of life or death sentence.


What can be our efforts against rape?

• We should teach our girl about good and bad touch from her childhood. So that she can understand difference between good or bad person.
• Be friend of your child whether girl/boy so that they can share any thing with you.
• Teach your boy how to respect other space and Freedom.
• Teach them to stand against wrong.
• Provide your girl defense classes.

Another think i want to say everyone who is reading this please stand against if you see any immoral thing happen to any women or a girl speak against it. whether it is eve teasing, sexual harassment or rape. think it can be happen with anybody ANYBODY...!
